Past Inventions

It is now the year 1890 and many inventions have been created. The creation of these inventions will change life as I and everyone else knows it. The success of these inventions, show that in the future technology and other ideas that turn into creations will have a major affect on the people of the world.

An invention that brought light to the world without having to use such things as lanterns is called the electric light bulb. The electric light bulb was invented by a fellow by the name of Thomas Alva Edison. The creation of this invention made life easier in little but very effective ways. It made it easier to see in dark places, rather than having a dim glow of a fire. It also made it more efficient for work.

Another invention, the elevator, invented bg Elisha Graves Otis made it faster to travel up flights of levels in a building. It was easier this way especially when buildings called skyscrapers became involved. The elevator was a major improvement from stairs when it came to bringing things to different levels especially if you had to carry things like boxes.

The gas car was invented in 1886, by a fellow named Karl Benz. It was a new type of transportation, for us people. It was sometimes called an automobile and it ran on gas that you put in the section of a car. It was many inventions that had to be made before the gas car could even be an idea, such as an engine which was invented by a man who was called Sir Douglas Clerk. This inention made going from one place to another simple, because at first the choices were between walking, horses, carriages, and trains.

The next invention that had a major impact on life was the skyscraper. The skyscraper made it possible to have more room in a building, and different levels as well. This made it possible for more business to be produced as well as more organization based off of floors.

The final invention I will speak upon brought another form of entertainment into the lives of people, this invention is called "movies". Movies were away of putting pictures into motion. The first movies did bot include sound so a person would play the piano or some other type of instrument to the movie. The movie made career opportunities possible.

The inventions that I have stated above had some sort if impact on the lives of every one in the world, from transportation to entertainment. They all were made possible by an idea, that turned into a plan, that turned into a creation. The electric light bulb, elevator, gas car etc., has made life somewhat simpler for people, someway, somehow. I believe in the future these inventions will become even better than they are now, I'll end this with my final thought...ideas today; inventions tommorrow.
